Jose Mourinho is set to reject the offer to lead the Portuguese national team.
It was previously reported that the 59-year-old specialist was called the main contender for this position. Jorge Mendes, Mourinho`s agent, met with the president of the Portuguese Football Federation.
However, now, according to Sky Sport Italia, Mourinho is thinking about turning down the opportunity to become head coach of the national team.
It is noted that Jose wants to focus only on being the head coach of Roma. The Portuguese`s contract with the Italian team runs until the summer of 2024.
