Sacramento head coach Mike Brown said team leaders De`Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis should make it to the 2023 NBA All-Star Game.
If Domas and Foxy don`t make it to the All-Star Game, it`s a disgrace to all selection principles. These guys more than deserve to be there. We`re talking about Sabonis, who broke the franchise record for most triple-doubles in a single season after moving to Sacramento. This says something. And we are not in 12th place.
I truly believe that records like these should be given serious consideration when it comes to selecting All-Stars. Domas and Foxy just don`t get enough credit. It`s a shame. Oscar Robertson was the only one to collect a triple-double like Sabonis. This is an absolutely amazing achievement for me. And this is not his first triple-double.
Hopefully, sooner or later, these guys will start getting the attention they deserve from across the league. Starting with the media, especially national ones. They have a great influence on people. "I hope Domas and Foxy get the respect they deserve because they play great every game, " Brown said.
Sabonis had 19 points, 15 rebounds and 16 assists (a personal best in the NBA) in a 139-114 loss to Houston last night. This is his fourth triple-double this season.
